Most Christians are Commandment Breakers

The vast majority of Christians worldwide, are guilty of being commandment breakers!

You believe in God. You have the desire to do what is right. You accept Jesus Christ as your savior, your King, and head of your church. God is the head of your family through Jesus, his holy lamb. You do well. So, is it possible for you, to tolerate anyone telling you, that you are a commandment breaker? If, it were possible, would you want to know?

James 2:10  For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Mark 13:5  And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:

You are in charge of your gift of agency. Your Heavenly Father has preserved that gift. So that, you might act wisely, exercising correct judgment on behalf of your eternal soul. You know that it is written in the Bible, that when you break one commandment, you are as guilty as if you had broken them all. Therefore, the accountability to God for breaking anyone of his commandments is to fall into a state of condemnation.

John 14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments.

What commandments am I speaking about? I use to say the same thing. What commandments? Hasn’t God spoken a lot? Remember what Jesus replied to Satan when he tempted Jesus about turning a rock into bread.

Luke 4:3  And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

Luke 4:4   And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

I repeat I have asked that same question, over and over again. What commandments? I inquired a number of times, of my religious leaders. I cannot recall having ever received an answer. Is it surely true? One would be a foolish person indeed, not to accept each and every word that comes from God. It is also true, that we have the responsibility to live our lives in a worthy manner. Permitting the needed consulting with the Holy Ghost for discernment. The power of discernment is so important. Especially in a world where so many are anxious to share God’s word. The messages on the same subject are often times so very different, causing confusion and frustration. It’s too easy to be deceived. I know first hand, it’s not a pleasant experience.

Revelation 12:9  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

So, where are the Devil and his angels? Among us! Right here on Earth making an effort to cause us challenges.

Can you see why no one, would venture to answer my question? Are you familiar with the correct answer? Of course, you are, because we just read it together. We must live by every word that comes from God. Such an answer seems to put us in an impossible position. Who can know all the words of God? Don’t be sad or frustrated but be happy in knowing that God only holds us accountable for what we are conscious of. We are not accused or condemned when we labor in ignorance. We will all arrive at enlightenment before the final judgment.

We often trust our religious leaders to our own eternal hurt. They have been deceived by the dragon, even as you may have been. Who can cause us to escape such wicked deception? You and I must seek God’s mercy and grace and walk daily in his light. The Preacher raises his voice in behalf of your soul’s happiness. Repent and escape God’s wrath. Do it now! Say in your mind and heart, Father help me, help me be all you want me to be, in the name of Yahusha (Jesus). If a few tears swell-up and roll down your cheeks, know that God is drawing you to himself. Amen and HalleluYah!

John 14:21   He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he, it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him and will manifest myself to him

Yahusha (Messiah) well indeed manifest himself to you. Take comfort and journey with expectations.

Deuteronomy 10:2   And I will write on the tables the words that were in the first tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the ark.

The Ten Commandments were placed inside an enclosure. The enclosure is known as an Ark and was made of wood and embellished with precious metal and artwork. Metal rings were fixed to opposite sides. Long polls were threaded through the rings to allow the specially chosen Priests to carry it. The two stone tables on which, “The Ten Commandments,” were engraved and place inside the Ark were treated with great care and reverence. I realize at this very moment, that I want to study more closely everything associated with the Ark. This Ark had a powerful influence on the Israelite’s history. The Ark has been lost but it is believed to still exist.

The word, “commandment,” is used 167 times in the King James Bible. What does this have to do with the subject? Well, I just want to share how I understand the meaning of the word, “Commandment,” it is an authoritative order, a decree from a source of authority and power that does not often permit negotiation. Pharaoh, a King, a Government, God, Yahusha (Jesus), a Prophet, anyone directed by the Holy Spirit, these would be in the category of authority by which commandments are issued. This is my own personal definition.

The Ten Commandments, which God personally wrote with his own finger, on two stone tables, are the commandments that have become the most generally thought of when mentioning commandments. The commandments are valuable beyond measure.

They are perfect. If you and I would keep these commandments, we also should find perfection. Yahusha (Jesus) act of the sacrifice on the cross or stake allows us to judged as being perfect by our faith. We would have a better world if our churches taught the importance and worth of knowing and obeying these commandments. You and I can’t lay the responsibility at the doors of our churches only, because the shaping of character in our children rests with the parents of the family. Placing the seeds of the commandments and examples before the eyes of our young ones would spare them so much unnecessary pain.

We simply cannot begin too early to expose our children to the correct moral code of conduct.

Be careful to understand agency and not infringe on that gift from our Heavenly Father given to you and your children.  Your teaching may not be accepted and therefore, you may only pray about the issues.  Trust Yahusha!

I can hear you say, “ We do believe in the Ten Commands.” They are included here so you may refresh your memory. Be honest with yourself. Do you keep each of these commandments? “Yes, I have kept them from early childhood,” you say. That is good. Read them thoughtfully to see if you are honestly able to answer in the affirmative once again.

Exodus 20:3-17

3Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

5Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

6And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

7Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

8Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it, thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it.

12Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

13Thou shalt not kill (murder).

 14Thou shalt not commit adultery.

 15Thou shalt not steal.

16Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

17Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbour’s.

Do you still have the same answer? Yes! Good, the Preacher is happy for you and thanks to the Almighty, God of your fathers for his kindness to you.

If you, however, believe that the Sabbath is Sunday. Or, that it doesn’t matter which day you acknowledge as the Sabbath. Well, the Preacher will boldly tell you that you are breaking a commandment. The fourth commandment, you are breaking the fourth commandment every single week. You have a lot of company but that doesn’t, nor can it, make it right. I personally know what a shock it is to become convicted of this undeniable truth. Your Bible plainly teaches Saturday is the seventh day Sabbath. Let us reason together, and consider just what a gift, God has given to us, when he created the Sabbath for man. Be aware that the Sabbath was being observed before the Ten Commandments were given to Moses on Mt. Sinai.

Mark 2:27   And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

Genesis 2:3   And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Exodus 31:13   Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.

Exodus 31:16   Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

Ezekiel 20:20  And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.

Colossians 2:16   Let no man, therefore, judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

( Did you notice the use of Sabbaths and then Sabbath days.)

Verse Col. 2:16 above is used to argue that Christians no longer need to observe the seventh day Sabbath. Other than the weekly Sabbath, which was instituted at creation (Gen 2:3 above), there were a number of other Sabbath days. Visit your Bible and learn what I am talking about. I mention Mat 5:18-19 to refute this argument. The truth is, that no-where in the Bible, can anyone find where the seventh day, Saturday Sabbath was changed to Sunday Sabbath. I recall reading about an individual who had a standing reward of $1000 dollars offered for anyone that was able to name the chapter and verse that showed the Sabbath day being changed. The Roman Catholic Church has admitted, that it was through their authority that brought forth this change. Sometime when I am more ambitious, I should like to collect information on the history of the change. There is a verse I will pause to hunt, I imagine you will find interesting. I found the verse, I was a little surprised by the speed you can look things up with the digital Bible using keywords. The links I have placed in the article take you to www.biblegate.com, which are a wonderful convenience and help. They have a large number of different Bible translations that greatly enhance your comprehension.

Daniel 7:25     And he shall speak great words against the Most High, and shall wear out the Saints of the Most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

The verse above deserves greater comment than I am willing to make at this time. Weigh it carefully.

Matthew 5:18-19

18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19Whosoever, therefore, shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Are you convinced that the Sabbath is Saturday? That day has never been lost. Read about the Israelites wander in the desert for forty years and being feed by manna dropped down from heaven. Take notice of how the Israelites were required by God to gather enough manna so they would have something to eat on the Sabbath. God would not provide the manna on the Sabbath. The word Sabbath means to rest in the Hebrew language.

The Sabbath can be honored, kept holy by remembering your creator and his creation, reframing from secular labor and enjoying the family. The Sabbath is a very special day that God made and blessed for our spiritual growth and for increasing the closeness of our relationship with our Heavenly Father. No other day can or should be a substitute.

Don’t be a Sabbath day breaker and therefore a commandment breaker. There is no reason you can’t attend Sunday services with other Christians. Keep the Sabbath and teach others to do the same out of love for them. The traditions of our fathers, having been in error doesn’t compel us to continue in that error. God bless each of you and may the promise of the Holy Sabbath be ever yours.

I want to take a minute to share another few scriptures. I was lying in bed the other night while reading. I was reading the works of a first-century historian by the name of Flavius Josephus. I recommend this work as being worthy of your precious time. The translator makes narrative comments from time to time. He mentioned a few bible verses that delighted me. I am learning all the time and hope to until my last breath and beyond.

Here they are, those verses.

Romans 8:19-22

19For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

20For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

21Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

22For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

These verses were offered in support of the claim that all of creation and its inhabitance suffered a negative change when Adam and Eve fell by disobedience. I have enjoyed many of God’s other living creations. I’ve observed, dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, cows, chickens and discovered that they all have the ability to be our friends. They have a light of understanding, a love for life, especially their own, much like our selves. These creatures are problem solvers, communicators and are often times good companion. What I am trying to say, I am fond of them and desire the best for them. The living sustains the living and it is not always perceptible to our senses or common knowledge. These verses please me because they promise that all our worldly companions will receive an incorruptible glory. Remember, the Serpent, a beast of the field, that was in the Garden of Eden, it was attractive and able to speak and it didn’t slither along. It will receive an incorruptible and glorious restoration. Isn’t that happy news?

I am going to mention something to you that you may not know. It will be the subject of another writing. It took a long while before I was given this information. The God that led the Israelites out of the land of Egypt, and the house of bondage, was none other than Yahusha (Jesus), the Messiah, and the only begotten of the Father in regards to the flesh. This can and will be demonstrated by chapter and verse at a later date. I’ll be covering ground that is not as of yet as clear as I hope it may become.
